Generac Power Systems designs, manufactures, installs and warrants entire standby power generation systems from 7 kW to 6,000 kW: generator sets, controls, transfer switches, paralleling technology, fuel tanks, enclosures and controlling software. With our nationwide industrial dealer network, we also provide full factory support for technical training, warranty programs, parts and service.

Generac Modular Power Systems provide cost-effective, scalable and flexible standby power solutions from 200 kW to 6,000 kW (10 X 600 kW) of output. Since the generators can be operated individually or in concert with each other, the modular system has built-in redundancy and is fully adaptable to lesser loads. The modular design also means that any system is scalable by simply adding another genset. The PowerManager® control system works with Generac's own paralleling technology, eliminating the need for expensive switchgear cabinets.

Generac Bi-FuelTM generators were named 2005 engineering Product of the Year by readers of Consulting-Specifying Engineer magazine and 2005 Product of the Year in its category by EC&M magazine. These innovative products were recognized for their dramatically extended run times, greatly reduced on-site fuel storage and superior generator reliability. Generac Bi-Fuel gensets feature the power and transient response of a diesel engine along with the environmental benefits and continuous fuel supply of natural gas. Our Bi-Fuel generators typically operate on up to 90% natural gas and 10% diesel fuel. If the natural gas supply is ever interrupted, the controls automatically direct the unit back to 100% diesel without any lose of power during the transition. Generac Bi-Fuel generators offer the best of both fuel sources for just slightly more than the cost of a diesel-only design.

QT Series Generators are designed for a wide variety of commercial and light industrial applications. These revolutionary new products are exceptionally quiet, environmentally friendly and very affordable. QT models range in output from 16 to 150 kilowatts and run on natural gas or liquid propane (LP) vapor. A sound attenuated enclosure is standard on every model, and Generac’s Quiet-Test™ feature operates the genset at slower speed during its weekly self-testing routine. QT Series products cost much less than other generators of similar output, making them ideal for health care facilities such as nursing homes, hospices, urgent care centers, clinics and laboratories.
Natural Gas Generators offer low cost operation and low emissions. They also take advantage of a reliably and continuously delivered fuel supply, eliminate the need for fuel storage tanks, start easier than diesel engines in cold weather and eliminate the maintenance required to prevent diesel fuel deterioration.

Generac Automatic transfer switches are UL listed and CSA certified, and are carefully constructed and tested to assure superior performance. Generac makes open transition, closed transition and bypass isolation switches to meet the varying requirements of systems from 100 to 2,600 amps.
