Analysis
Q. Could you publish for the MGI
readership a sample diesel fuel analysis
report and go over the various
characteristics such as cloud point,
pour point, gravity API @ 60 degrees F,
and the other characteristics that will
indicate the conditions of the fuel? It
is important to identify these factors
so we can maintain our generators at a
level that will allow them to perform
optimally. D.O.
A. There are several fuel labs
around the country that publish
guidelines. I have asked Analysts, Inc.
to provide a detailed report for the
next issue of the newsletter. |
